Zoran Zaev met United States Vice-President Mike Pence in Washington at September 20, 2018.
Zaev and Pence discussed the upcoming referendum on the Prespa Agreement in Macedonia, and the country’s integration in NATO.
Mike Pence expressed his strong support for the Prespa Agreement as well as his support for the country as it moves forward to membership in NATO and the EU which will lead to greater security and prosperity for the entire region.
Zaev and Pence both agreed to organise a mutual celebration once Macedonia becomes a full NATO member.
